Recent Sales in Palm Beach’s North End

The town of Palm Beach’s North End luxury real estate market has had an active year. Throughout the spring and summer, news that legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi had purchased and planned to move into a North End estate sparked significant sales, renovations, and speculation development in one community. Additionally, like the other parts of the town of Palm Beach, this area has seen unprecedented high-end real estate sales. As the year came to an end, the real estate market has been active in this part of Palm Beach. Here are some of the recent sales in Palm Beach’s North End:

Sylvester Stallone Connected to North End Lakefront Purchase

Palm Beach may be welcoming a new celebrity resident soon. Actor, screenwriter, producer, and director Sylvester Stallone is reportedly behind a $35.375 million purchase of a lakefront estate on the North End. The Golden Globe winner and Oscar-nominated screenwriter and star of “Rocky” and the “Rambo” film franchises recently closed on a stunning lakefront property located at 1480 N. Lake Way.

The estate is a Bermuda-style compound with 253 feet of lakefront. The property has a dock and sandy beach beyond the seawall. The home is a 13,241 square foot, seven-bedroom, two-story residence with a separate guesthouse and waterfront pool.

Jimmy Buffett Sells One of His Palm Beach Properties

Singer and long-time Palm Beach resident Jimmy Buffett recently sold his North End home at 309 Garden Road for $6.9 million. The “Margaritaville” singer and his wife, Jane, own other Palm Beach properties on Root Trail and real estate in West Palm Beach.

Asplund-Linked Sale Closes After Six Weeks on the Market

After only six weeks on the market, a North End property located at 211 Ocean Terrace changed hands for a reported $7.44 million. The 4,968 square foot four-bedroom Caribbean Georgian-style estate closed on November 25, and the deed was recorded December 2. The home features a formal dining area, a living room with a fireplace, a breakfast space as part of an open-plan kitchen, and a two-car garage. The outdoor area offers a covered loggia, a patio with a pergola, and a pool with a whirlpool spa.

The property was reportedly sold by a Florida limited liability company connected to the Asplundh family.

Two North End Multi-Million Dollar Sales on W. Indies on the Same Day

Recently, two Palm Beach properties sold at opposite ends of the same North End street on the same day.

The estate at 208 W. Indies Drive is a 5,444 square-foot property inside and out. According to reports, the Bermuda-style, five-bedroom home sold for $7.2 million, which was 2.5 million more than the last sale. The property is equipped with “smart-house” electronics, a fully outfitted kitchen, three gas fireplaces, an outdoor pool entertainment area, and a summer kitchen.

The second property located at the corner of West Indies Drive at 661 N. Lake Way sold for a reported $6.749 million. The six-bedroom, 4,834-square-foot estate is on a half-acre lot and was built by the late developer Robert Gottfried in his signature Palm Beach Regency style.
