Palm Beach Luxury Resort Prepares for Expansion

The Town of Palm Beach is known for its pristine white sand beaches, unparalleled beauty, and first-class accommodations. From the elegance of the historic Breakers to the Four Seasons’ classic luxury, this locale has some of the most stylish and exclusive hotels in the world. Each year, visitors come to this picturesque setting to enjoy the best in fine dining and luxurious amenities in one of the town’s high-end resorts or hotels. One luxury hotel is making plans for future growth. The owners of the ultra-upscale Brazilian Court Hotel and Beach Club recently added to their real estate portfolio by acquiring one of the Town of Palm Beach’s prime, luxury oceanfront properties. Here is more on how this Palm Beach Luxury Resort is Preparing for Expansion.

Changes for The Ambassador

Recently, the owners of the Brazilian Court reportedly successfully bought out all but two of the owners of the oceanfront co-operative, The Ambassador. The new owners are the Schlesinger family. Co-owner Bobby Schlesinger commented, “It was an opportunity to buy oceanfront property for hospitality or multi-family use.” The group first bought 69 units for approximately $35 million and eventually acquired the additional 26 units. Schlesinger described the opportunity to purchase and the location as “the best of both worlds.’’ The co-owners also purchased the property’s gift shop, salon, pool deck, and dining area.

The Ambassador is a two-building structure that offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floorplans. According to a recent report, updates are being made to the existing buildings. The hotel lobby and hallway have already been renovated, as have the property bathrooms, kitchens, beds, dressers, counters, and flooring. The hotel opened in December, but according to reports, the new owners will make full renovation efforts over the next two years.

The Ambassador properties will be available for short-term use at rates ranging from $271 to $1,226 per night and for long-term accommodation ranging from $7,500 to $30,000 per month.

In early January, the new owners opened The Ambassador Grill at 2730 South Ocean Boulevard. The dining establishment is located next to the Four Seasons. The restaurant is situated on an 8,000 square foot pool deck with covered seating and an unparalleled sunset view over the Intracoastal waterway. Led by renowned executive chef Juan Xavier Pareja, The Ambassador Grill offers a diverse array of American dishes. Before leading Ambassador Grill, Chef Pareja worked as Executive Sous Chef for Andrew Carmellini at his Michelin starred restaurant, A Voce, and as Executive Sous Chef for Alain Ducasse at Benoit, both in New York City.

Currently, Brazilian Court guests may access the Ambassador’s private beach, cabanas, shower, and locker area. When the Ambassador’s conversion is complete, and the new owners intend for it to be the official sibling of the Brazilian Court and potentially be called the Brazilian Beach Resort. Bobby Schlesinger said of the new venture, “We believe very much in the Palm Beach market”.  “I envision this as a generational piece of real estate — it’s for the long term.”
