The Winter Equestrian Festival

The Winter Equestrian Festival occurs at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida. Competitive events take place over 12 weeks at this location each year and attract spectators from all over the world. Fans come to see competitors from throughout the United States and from over 52 countries. Events take place over 500 acres in 18 competition areas and audiences can watch the best riders compete in their classes in several contests.

The Festival is the oldest and longest-running event of its kind. It is also considered to be a premier competition for participants and attendees. Each show week begins on Wednesday and ends on Sunday.  Saturday nights offer the Saturday Night Lights Grand Prix, the highest-level jumping show of the week. The Festival also features the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), one of the world’s largest international and national dressage circuits featuring seven CDI events.

In addition to the unparalleled equestrian events in Wellington, the Festival also has family-friendly places to visit such as Vendor Village, as well as other activities, dining, and entertainment options. Wellington also has numerous shopping attractions, jewelers, and art galleries.

Palm Beach International Polo Season

Those who want to watch competitive polo will also find that the Festival occurs at the same time as the Palm Beach International Polo Season. The International Polo Club of Palm Beach offers spectators thrilling events to take in.
