Recently, fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger and his wife, designer Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger have been making real estate headlines in the Town of Palm Beach. Having sold their lavish Connecticut estate and their Golden Beach, Florida properties earlier this year, the famous couple has since focused their attention on acquiring real estate in the Town of Palm Beach. Here is more on Tommy Hilfiger’s recent Palm Beach purchases:
1930 South Ocean Boulevard
According to a recent report, in July, Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee acquired an estate located at 1930 South Ocean Boulevard in the Town of Palm Beach for $46.3 million. The impressive ocean-to-lake home sits on three acres located on the east side of South Ocean Boulevard. The property’s dwelling is a 20,936-square-foot, five-bedroom, nine-bathroom British Colonial-style mansion. Outside, the estate features a pool, tennis court, boat dock, and 300 feet of ocean-to-lake frontage. The home also has a tunnel beneath South Ocean Boulevard that connects the main property to its beach parcel. The South Ocean Boulevard acquisition is Hilfiger’s third Town of Palm home purchase this year. A month before the sale, he acquired another Town of Palm Beach property located at 313 Dunbar Road.
313 Dunbar Road
In June 2021, Mr. and Mrs. Hilfiger purchased another home in the Town of Palm Beach for a recorded $21 million. The Mediterranean-style lakefront property located at 313 Dunbar Road was custom built-in 2006 for real estate investor and health care entrepreneur Donald R. Dizney and his wife, Irene. The .3-acre property offers almost 100 feet of lakefront, and it features a dock that extends into the Intercoastal Waterway. The property also includes a three-bedroom house with 6,175 square feet of living space, inside and out. The Dunbar Road home is located a little more than half a mile north of Royal Poinciana Way. Three months before the sale, the couple purchased another Town of Palm Beach home located at 244 Fairview Road.
244 Fairview Road
The Hilfigers reportedly began their 2021 Town of Palm Beach home-buying spree in March of this year with the purchase of 244 Fairview Road. The couple paid $9 million for the recently constructed three-bedroom, two-story 4,970 total square foot, Bermuda-style house. The home is situated near the south end of the Palm Beach Country Club. The Fairview Road home was designed by Daniel Menard of LaBerge and Menard and reportedly has a state-of-the-art kitchen, high ceilings, a loggia facing a private garden, and a large family pool. According to a recent report, the Hilfigers purchased the fully-furnished North End home to serve as their operations base while renovating their other properties.
This first sale came only a few months after the Hilfigers sold their fully renovated Greenwich, Connecticut 22-acre, French Normandy-style estate for a reported $45 million. In May, the pair also sold their colorful Golden Beach, Florida home for a reported $28 million. According to reports, the couple previously owned another home in the Town of Palm Beach located at 100 Casa Bendita, which they sold for $35 million in 2018.
