An oceanfront mansion in Gulf Stream sold for $33 million, more than doubling in value.

Gulf Stream Ocean Properties FL LLC, managed by Gary Clinton Scheier, the CFO of San Francisco-based Oberndorf Enterprises, sold the 8,922-square-foot home at 3545 N. Ocean Blvd.

The buyer was the 3545 North Ocean Trust, with local attorney Guy Rabideau as trustee. The price equated to $3,699 a square foot.

The home last traded for $14.25 million in 2018, so it more than doubled in valid amid of flurry of wealthy transplants building buying homes along the water in Palm Beach County.

Built on the 1.96-acre site in 1958, the home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, a pool, and a fireplace.

Corcoran Group’s Candace Friis, who brokered the deal, declined to comment.
