$1 Million-plus Single-Family Homes: Big Names Push Up Price Point of Palm Beach Mansions
Nine homes were sold in the Town of Palm Beach in January and five surpassed the $20 million mark. The month of sales helped push the average mean price point up, considerably—over 130% during the last three months as compared to the same period of last year.
$1 Million-plus Condos: Quick Flips of Brand New Twin Townhomes
Two new never-lived-in townhomes built by local developer Richard J. Kurtzand, closed and almost immediately re-entered the market. Situated across the street from the new Palazzo Villa quadplex condominiums, the duplex condos are walking distance of Worth Avenue.

The Palm House Hotel, Mar-a-lago, The Breakers, and Vineta Hotel (formerly the Chesterfield) all presented Town of Palm Beach commissions with plans to renovate, refurbish and freshen up their properties.

The report reviews the Town of Palm Beach’s land usage, specifically, building and development applications as presented to the Town, and the Architectural and Landmarks Commissions, and permits of large scale building projects in the $100 thousand-plus valuation category. The information reflects all data entered by the last day of the prior month. When a sale or listing for that month is posted after the last day of the month, that information will be rolled into the following month’s report.
